Greatest Hits
GREATEST HITS
Every project is a labour of love. A few of the records I'm proudest of.
WEB & MOBILE PLATFORM
A two-sided charter-flight booking platform built under my aviation business, Angel Gabriel Aeronautics. The most complex thing I've shipped end-to-end — operator portal, marketplace search and quoting, real-time messaging, integrated payments via Revolut Business, and an automated reconciliation pipeline to QuickBooks Online.
B-SIDE · RESULT
Production-grade marketplace from a single developer. Proved that AI-assisted development holds up against the architectural complexity of a real two-sided platform.
MULTI-TENANT WEB APPLICATION
A white-label family cookbook platform. Every household gets its own private space — recipes, meal planning, weekly tips, and shopping lists generated automatically from the plan — branded with their own name and palette. Started life as a single-family app and was refactored into a multi-tenant SaaS without losing a single recipe.
B-SIDE · RESULT
Multi-tenant refactor done cleanly — proves I can take a working single-tenant app and turn it into a SaaS without breaking it. Auth, isolation, customisation, all in one piece.
MOBILE APPLICATION · IOS & ANDROID
My first mobile app shipped to the App Store — a daily inspirational content delivery app built end-to-end in React Native, from local development through TestFlight to a public Apple App Store release.
B-SIDE · RESULT
Live on the Apple App Store. Every hard part of mobile development — provisioning profiles, push tokens, store review, TestFlight — is now muscle memory. Your mobile project won't be my first one.
MARKETING WEBSITE
The marketing site for my aviation business, rebuilt from the ground up with proper SEO foundations. The kind of work I'd build for any small operator wanting professional online presence at speed.
B-SIDE · RESULT
Inbound quote requests started arriving in the first weeks post-launch. At aviation ticket prices, a 3% quote-to-sale conversion is real revenue.
MARKETING WEBSITE
A sophisticated online gallery for my family's fine art collection. Designed to present artwork with the reverence it deserves — elegant typography, generous whitespace, restrained motion.
B-SIDE · RESULT
Proof the diner aesthetic isn't the only register I can hit. When a brand calls for quiet and reverent, the code can deliver that too.

PULL UP A SEAT
The story behind the studio, the values, and the way I work.
THE STORY
Pinkie & the Brain is a one-person software studio in Jersey. I'm Dylan Coppard, and I build websites, web apps and mobile apps for small businesses who'd rather pay one good developer than five mediocre ones.
I'm not just one developer though — I code with AI as a permanent collaborator on every line. The result is agency-quality outcomes at fixed prices, weeks-not-months timelines, and zero handoffs between designer, developer, and PM. The whole project stays in one head from first call to launch.
The name's a wink at the cartoon — Pinkie plans, the Brain executes, they live in the same skull. The 1950s diner is the working philosophy: built to last, served with pride, no menu-board lies. What we agreed at quote is what gets shipped, on the date we said, at the price we said.
WHAT I STAND FOR
Every line of code is read three times before it ships. Your site goes in my portfolio too — I have skin in its quality.
Fixed-price quotes you can plan around. If a feature isn't worth its cost, I'll tell you to skip it. No surprise invoices.
I don't ghost after launch. The first 30–90 days are mine to fix. After that I'm still an email away — past clients still email me three years on.
Two weeks for a marketing site. Six for a full web app. Fast because the tooling is right and there are no handoffs — not because I cut corners.
TOOLS OF THE TRADE
HOW THE ORDER GETS COOKED
Twenty-minute call. We talk about what you're building, who it's for, and what success looks like. No commitment, no upsell.
Written quote within 48 hours — fixed price, milestones, timeline. You see exactly what you're buying before you say yes.
Weekly demos. Real progress at the end of every week. Anything off-target, we course-correct early, together.
We deploy together. I document what was built, hand over credentials, and walk you through the admin tools. Your turn to drive.
30–90 days of free fixes baked into every tier. After that I'm on retainer or per-fix — most clients just email.
ASK THE COOK
The questions careful clients ask before clicking the contact form.
WHY ARE YOU SO MUCH CHEAPER THAN AN AGENCY?
Two reasons. No overhead — no office, no project managers, no juniors trained on your dime. And AI-assisted coding compresses time-to-ship by three-to-five times. The savings get split: you get a sharper price than agency-rate; I keep margin instead of burning hours on boilerplate.
ISN’T AI-GENERATED CODE LOWER QUALITY?
It would be, if I just accepted the first draft. I don’t. AI writes the boilerplate; I make the architectural decisions and read every line. Same standard as any senior developer’s code review — but the typing is already done.
WHAT IF MY REQUIREMENTS CHANGE MID-PROJECT?
Small changes (a screen, a copy edit, a new field) come out of the revisions budget baked into each tier. Larger changes get a short written change-order with a delta to price and timeline — you decide whether to proceed. Nothing sneaky.
WHO OWNS THE CODE AFTER LAUNCH?
You do. At launch I hand over the repository, deployment credentials, and any third-party accounts. No vendor lock-in, no holding anything hostage. If you ever want to move to another developer, they can pick up where I left off.
I’M NOT TECHNICAL — CAN WE STILL WORK TOGETHER?
Most of my clients aren’t. I translate. You tell me what the software should do; I tell you in plain English what that costs and how it’ll work. The technical jargon stays my problem.
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE SUPPORT WINDOW ENDS?
Three options. Pay per-fix on an hourly basis. Sign a maintenance retainer (£400-£1,200/month). Or just email me — I respond. Most prefer the last one.
